Lessons
Beginner Lessons
Dates: Every Monday at 8pm! Beginner lessons run every Monday at 8pm in the JDUC: Wallace Hall (Room 141). Lesson's cost $2 to drop in or you can purchase a year long membership for $15 dollars which gives you free access to all the beginner lessons as well as discounts on events we host throughout the year. Our beginner lessons require no previous dancing experience, everyone is welcome! Swing is an energetic dance involving a lot of footwork, wear comfortable shoes (no high heels!) and clothing. Bring a friend or come alone! Swing is a social dance and we hold our lessons is that spirit. We rotate partners every few minutes so that you can practice dancing with a variety of people as well as meet future dance partners.
Balboa Lessons

Previously Offered - Solo Charleston
Dates: October 24th to November 14th, 2011 Ever felt like you should have been born in the 1920s? Interested in unleashing your inner flapper? Then, come on out to the QSC's solo Charleston lessons! We offered a four lesson course, where you learned a solo Charleston routine, which was performed for the QSC! It was not mandatory to attend all of the lessons if you just wanted to learn some solo moves! Those who were part of the performance learned the entire charleston routine! This was geared more towards the ladies, but guys were welcome to join! |
